| A project delivered in 2008 to assist Local Authorites to develop frameworks and action plans for Skills for Life training for their employees. Delivered on behalf of the LSC Yorkshire and Humber, the project linked LAs to Train to Gain providers for the delivery of the training.

- an analysis of current provision (type, distribution and take-up) and gaps in provision
- the preparation of a new Development Plan for a reformed Adult Learning and Skills Partnership, and
- the development of a three-year Commissioning Framework for lifelong learning | | A programme delivered for the LSC Yorkshire and Humber to pilot new approaches to promoting apprenticeships in disadvantaged areas and areas of low take-up. See also www.apprenticeshipsforall.co.uk. | | An EEDA-financed project to evaluate over a three-year period a programme ('Beyond 2010') to support skills development in key industrial sectors and to provide support to workers under threat of redundancy.
